This is the entirely avoidable result of putting incompetent people in positions of power. America will lead the world in Covid-19 failures, and I guarantee you that, once the pandemic is finally over, and we’ve lost half a million lives or whatever the final count ends up being, we Americans will convince ourselves that we have no responsibility for those deaths.
